One field, and what it costs to skip

A ripple casino deposit has one extra field, and leaving it blank is how XRP goes missing

An XRP deposit to a casino usually needs two things, not one: the address and a destination tag. The address is shared by every player at that casino, so the tag is what says whose balance the money belongs to — and a transfer without it arrives correctly and credits nobody.

Most guidance about paying a casino in crypto is the same guidance whatever the coin: copy the address, send, wait for confirmations. XRP is the one where that advice is actively dangerous, because of a field the other coins do not have.

The shared wallet, and the number that sorts it

Bitcoin and most coins give each depositing account its own address, so the address itself identifies the account. The XRP Ledger works differently in practice: services typically hold one wallet for everybody and attach a destination tag — a number issued per account — to tell incoming transfers apart.

So a ripple casino deposit has two required pieces of information instead of one. The address says which company. The tag says which player.

Leave the tag out and the transfer still succeeds. Nothing fails, no warning appears, and the XRP lands in a wallet holding every other player's funds with nothing attached to say whose it is. At that point it has stopped being a technical problem and become a support problem, governed by the operator's terms rather than by the network.

What to check before the first XRP transfer

  • The tag is present and copied exactly. It is generated per account, not per transfer, and a wrong digit is the same as no tag.
  • The sending wallet has a tag field at all. Some wallets and some exchange withdrawal screens hide it behind an advanced option, and a wallet that cannot attach one cannot be used for this deposit.
  • A small first transfer. The point is to prove the route — address, tag and crediting — before anything that matters moves. This tests the path, never the odds.
  • The operator's confirmation policy. Settlement on the ledger takes seconds; crediting takes whatever the casino's terms say it takes.

The same discipline is worth applying to any coin, and what a bitcoin deposit actually involves works through the version without a tag.

What the operators here actually publish

A nine row field list with six values filled and three marked not published
An empty cell here means unpublished. It does not mean zero and it does not mean unlimited, and two of these three blanks are what a player would need to size a worst case.

Of the twenty casinos covered on this site, four publish a coin list at all, and XRP appears in two of them. The other sixteen do not say, anywhere a reader can check, which coins their cashier takes.

That number is reported as what it is: a disclosure gap, not a count of who accepts XRP. Several of the sixteen almost certainly do. The point is that it cannot be read from their own documents, and this site does not fill in a cashier list from a comparison page — which is the same rule that leaves blank cells elsewhere in the ranking, for the reasons on the methodology page.

A reader who needs XRP specifically has a practical move available: ask the operator and keep the written answer. A casino that states its coin list in writing has disclosed something it was not obliged to disclose, which is exactly the quality the five checks measure.

Getting XRP back out

The withdrawal side is governed by the clause, not the coin. A cap is a cap whether it is denominated in dollars, USDT or XRP — Wolfbet's US$8,000 a week and 100,000 USDT a week at Winz.io apply to the account, not to the rail the money leaves on.

Two coin-specific points do apply. A balance held in XRP between sessions is priced by the market, so the number of coins can stay the same while what they are worth does not. And a withdrawal to an exchange account usually needs a destination tag of its own, in the other direction, with the same consequence for omitting it.

Identity checks are also unaffected by the coin. Where an operator's terms allow a document request before a first payout, paying in XRP does not change that — what the identity clauses actually say covers the ones that have been read.

Where this leaves the choice

The coin decides how money moves. The casino decides whether it moves back, at what cap, after which checks and with what written down — and that is the decision with money attached. How the twenty are ranked on their own terms is the part worth reading before choosing a rail.

Frequently asked questions

What is a destination tag, and is it optional?
It is a number the receiving service issues to identify one account inside a wallet shared by all of its users. On the network it is optional; at a casino that uses a shared wallet it is not, because without it the transfer arrives at an address holding everybody's funds with nothing attached to say whose it is.
What happens if the tag is left out?
The transfer succeeds. That is the painful part: nothing fails, nothing bounces, and the XRP is simply sitting in the casino's wallet unattributed. Recovery is a support matter rather than a technical one, and whether it happens at all depends on that operator's own terms and its willingness to look.
Is XRP faster than Bitcoin for a casino deposit?
Settlement on the XRP Ledger is a matter of seconds rather than the ten-minute block rhythm Bitcoin works to, so the network side is quick. What a player actually waits for is the casino's own confirmation policy, which is written in its terms and is not a property of the coin.
Do many crypto casinos carrying Aviator accept XRP?
Fewer than accept Bitcoin or USDT. Of the twenty operators covered here, only four publish a coin list at all, and XRP appears in two of them. That is a gap in what the operators disclose rather than a count of who accepts it, and it is recorded as a gap rather than filled in from elsewhere.
Does the coin change the game?
No. Aviator's round is decided on the operator's server and the 97% return applies to the stake whatever funded it. The coin changes how money gets in and out, what the withdrawal clause caps it at, and how much of the balance moves with the market between sessions.
