What the client on the phone actually holds

It is worth being precise about the contents of the device, because the claim depends on the reader assuming those contents are richer than they are.

The client holds a display. It draws a multiplier that arrives from elsewhere, it shows the list of finished rounds, it shows how many players are in the current round and where some of them left, and it sends two messages upward: a bet and a cash-out. That is the whole of it. The history panel is a record of things that have already been settled, and it contains no more information about the next round than yesterday’s dice contain about today’s.
